The company Pioneer Emergency is only a supplier of medical alarm systems. They do not manufacture the systems themselves. The medical alarm systems sold by Pioneer Emergency actually come from companies such as First Alert Professional, Visonic and Honeywell. Pioneer Emergency is only in charge of installation, maintenance and services.
Reliability
Pioneer Emergency may not actually own the medical alarms, but the merchandise are guaranteed to be reliable. The medical alarms supplied by the company are of good quality and they function the same way as all other medical alarm systems. There is a help button in both the medical alert pendant and the command module. When the button is pressed, the medical alarm will be activated and emergency services or family members will be contacted. With the press of the button, a radio signal will be sent to the central monitoring station, wherein a security service operator will take the call. The personal emergency response service is just as reliable as the others. However, a problem in this case is that the monitoring station does not specifically service the company Pioneer Emergency. Unlike other systems, Pioneer Emergency does not have its own monitoring center and operators. Also, the backup battery of the Pioneer Emergency medical alarm system lasts for only 12 hours, which is significantly shorter than the backup battery life of other systems.
Ease of Use
The medical alarm systems sold by Pioneer Emergency are all easy to use and install. The medical alert system will be sent to the subscriber by FedEx. After the command module has been taken out of the box, it simply has to be plugged into a 24-hour AC power outlet; the telephone cord should also be plugged into a phone outlet. After that, the medical alarm system is ready to use. The command console is just as big as a shoe box, which means it can be placed anywhere in the home. It enables a hands-free, two-way voice conversation between the subscriber and the central monitoring station. As usual, the system comes with the most essential piece: the emergency pendant. Because it can be worn on the wrist or neck, help can be sought regardless of the person’s location during the emergency.
Price
The price of the Pioneer Emergency medical alarms is competitive. Like most medical alert systems, the monthly charge of Pioneer Emergency is a little less than $30. For $29.95 a month, the subscriber can get 24-hour access to emergency services any day of the year. It is a good price, especially when compared with the rates of other systems. Those who will order the medical alarm system will get a free lock box. Originally sold for $40, the lock box will enable first responders to get inside the house without destroying the door.
Overall
Pioneer Emergency medical alarms may not be the best in the market, but they are functional. They are easy to install, easy to use and the price is reasonable. With all things considered, Pioneer Emergency medical alarms make for good choices.

One time, my eldest brother suffered from chest pain. He had been busy for the entire day, so he thought the pain was just a result of exhaustion. When the pain lasted longer than he expected, he pressed his First Alert button. It turns out he was having a heart attack. Someone called me and told me that an ambulance was already sent to his house. If it wasn’t for the quick response, he wouldn’t have survived. Thank you, Pioneer Emergency.
I am so grateful to have Pioneer’s First Alert medical alarm. I live alone with my rottweiler Chase, who is quite a character and can be troublesome at times. I gave him the name because he likes to chase cats, insects and other animals; sometimes, he even gets bothered by leaves carried away by the wind! One time I was just standing in the kitchen when he saw a cat in the neighbor’s fence. He rushed to get out of the doors, knocking me down in the process. I was in pain and I couldn’t get up. I pushed the button and had to scream because the unit was in the living room. I’m just glad the operator heard me even if I was far away. The paramedics arrived so quickly, I almost couldn’t believe it. It was like they were just two houses away or something. It turns out I fractured my hip and I was immediately sent to the hospital. I was surprised to see my son in the hospital, and he said that someone called to tell him about my emergency. If it wasn’t for First Alert, I would probably be much worse than I am today.
